Vintage Poliwoggs Pumpkin Man Candy Container Figurine - Primitive Folk Art

An absolute showstopper for primitive holiday curators, this is a rare, retired Poliwoggs Pumpkin Man Candy Container figurine, masterfully envisioned by legendary folk artists David Critchfield and Vic Fortunato.

Exhibiting the signature antique papier-mâché appearance that made Poliwoggs a staple of early-2000s folk art collecting, this unique figure features a stacked pumpkin body paired with an incredibly expressive, toothy-grinned jack-o'-lantern face. Molded to look like natural, deeply ridged pumpkin vines, his legs stand nested beside a sleek black cat companion. He holds a classic woven basket under his arm, and his entire midsection and textured base are encrusted with premium, ice-crushed holiday glitter.

Best of all, the neck serves as a clever concealment seam—lift the pumpkin head to reveal a hollow candy container basin inside the body! A prized heirloom addition to any high-end vintage style Halloween mantle or holiday hutch display.
